The "Spazio Sicuro – QR Code" Project, promoted by Legacoop Liguria in collaboration with the Liguria Region Equality Councillor, stems from the awareness of a stark gap: while workplace harassment remains widespread, official reports remain extremely low. This disconnect is largely driven by a lack of trust in the confidentiality of traditional reporting channels.

The initiative involves placing QR codes across workplaces, granting access to an unindexed web platform where reports can be submitted with complete anonymity and security. All submissions are received exclusively by the Office of the Liguria Region Equality Councillor, which can then activate official protection protocols under current legislation.

The project provides a concrete tool to help bring instances of workplace harassment and violence to light, rebuild trust in reporting mechanisms, and foster a culture of respect and safety on the job.

The Equal Opportunities Committee of the University of Genoa actively contributed to discussions on this issue within the Working Group on Workplace Harassment and Violence, collaborating alongside the Liguria Region Equality Councillor.
