Training for UniGe staff

The Committee has promoted the implementation of training initiatives by the University aimed at students, faculty, and staff, with the goal of fostering the understanding of fundamental principles regarding equal opportunities and the protection of basic rights. These initiatives are designed to raise awareness among the aforementioned groups and provide them with practical tools for identifying discriminatory situations. The activities organised include:

  • Specific modules on equal opportunities, mobbing, and diversity management, offered within internal training courses targeting specific groups (e.g., new hires, by category/area, for career progression, etc.)
  • Thematic seminars open to the public
  • Meetings organised with other equal opportunity bodies active in the regional area
  • Working sessions on gender-related topics during scientific conferences
