On 4 June 2028, in light of the new applicable regulations, recent statutory amendments, and Action 12 of the PAP (2013–2016), and following consultation with the Academic Senate and the Board of Directors, the Rector issued the “Code of Conduct for the Prevention of All Forms of Discrimination, Harassment, and Mobbing in the Work and Study Environments of the University of Genoa.”
The new Code of Conduct aims to actively prevent and combat any form of discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, disability, age, or any other personal characteristic. It also seeks to eradicate harassment and mobbing, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all – students, faculty, and technical-administrative staff.
The adoption of this Code represents a clear signal of the University of Genoa’s commitment to promoting a culture of respect and equality, fundamental values for a modern and progressive academic community. Through this initiative, the University reaffirms its leading role in safeguarding the well-being of its members, emphasising its vocation as a place of growth, dialogue, and opportunity for all, without distinction.
