The Security, Risk, and Vulnerability Centre presents the third edition of "inVulnerabilia: Towards a Culture of Vulnerability", a public event designed to bring together science, institutions, and civil society to engage in dialogue on the growing uncertainties of contemporary society.
The inVulnerabilia conference will take place on Wednesday 20, Thursday 21, and Friday 22 May 2026 at the Sala delle Grida in Genoa’s Palazzo della Borsa. Guided by the dual framework of safety/security and risk, the discussions will explore various dimensions of vulnerability, without any attempt to be exhaustive or hierarchical.
The goal of the event is to foster a collective, society-wide understanding of vulnerability grounded in solid scientific principles. This is rooted in the recognition that scientific problem-solving takes time and is best driven by collaboration among diverse actors through ongoing, systematic exchange.
