Convegno “Sicurezza: Femminile Plurale”

Thursday 26 March 2026, starting at 9:30 AM, the Genoa Chamber of Commerce – Sala del Bergamasco – will host the conference “Safety: Feminine Plural”, an initiative promoted by UIL Liguria within the framework of the “Zero Deaths at Work” campaign.

The event will be dedicated to the topic of workplace safety from a female perspective, with a discussion among institutions, entities, academia, and trade union representatives to deepen criticalities, protections, and perspectives related to the health and safety of female workers in different professional contexts.

The morning will open at 9:30 AM with participant registration, followed at 10:00 AM by the presentation of an introductory video. At 10:10 AM, institutional greetings are scheduled by Maurizio Caviglia, Secretary General of the Genoa Chamber of Commerce. The introduction to the works will be entrusted to Roberta Cavicchioli, Regional Confederal Secretary of UIL Liguria.

Starting at 10:30 AM, the following will intervene:

  • Laura Amoretti, Equality Councillor Liguria Region

  • Laura Notarianni, User Services Process Manager at the Genoa Labour Inspectorate IAM

  • Alessandra Ligi, INAIL Liguria Regional Director

  • Giuseppe Gulli, Regional Confederal Secretary UIL Liguria

  • Gabriele Mercurio, Director SC PSAL – Ass. Ligure

  • Luisa Stagi, professor DAFIST UniGe and President of the UniGe Equal Opportunities Committee.

The conclusions, scheduled for 12:30 PM, will be entrusted to Ivana Veronese, National Secretary UIL.

The initiative aims to keep attention high on prevention, safety culture, and gender differences in workplaces, promoting an inclusive and conscious approach to the issue of protecting people.
