On Monday, 11 May 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the University of Genoa will host the international seminar "Closing the Gap: Identifying Strategies to Increase Access to Mental Health Services among Migrants in the U.S.".

The event will feature Ana Martinez-Donate, Professor and Associate Dean at Drexel University’s Dornsife School of Public Health (USA). She is a public health expert with extensive research on the social and behavioural determinants of health, with a particular focus on migrant populations.

Opening remarks will be delivered by Micaela Rossi, Dean of the School of Humanities. The panel will be moderated by Cecilia Serena Pace (Department of Educational Sciences) and Emilio Di Maria (Department of Health Sciences).
