The University of Genoa presents the workshop "Tools for Protection Against Violence", featuring in-person sessions on gender-based violence open to the entire UniGe academic community.
Led by:
- Stefania Ferrari, Psychologist and Lead Officer for the project "Preventing and Combating Gender-Based Violence"
- Maria Bressan, Warrant Officer (Maresciallo Ordinario) of the Carabinieri, Genoa Provincial Command
The workshop provides practical tools to identify and address various forms of violence: psychological, physical, economic, stalking, and cyberbullying. Special focus will be placed on digital risks that can lead to aggressive, overbearing, or harassing acts. The goal of the workshop is to help recognize violent behaviours—including within the university setting—in order to counter them and foster a safer, more welcoming environment.

Sessions will take place at the Teaching and Learning Centre (UTLC) Classroom, Via Vivaldi 5 – Department of Economics, Genoa, scheduled for different groups within the UniGe community:
