The University of Genoa has implemented the Alias Career for students undergoing gender transition, in accordance with Action 27 of the PAP 2021–2024 (Introduction of the Alias Career).

The Double University Record at UniGe, proposed by the Equal Opportunity Committee, has been active since 2015 with the aim of overcoming discrimination based on sexual orientation and/or gender identity, promoting a culture oriented toward respect for differences and the prevention of homo- and transphobia.
