As of 10 February 2025, the University of Genova Listening Point is active, as approved by the University Governing Bodies on 22 November 2024.
What is it?
The Listening Point complements and strengthens the network of bodies working to protect the university community and promote well-being. Its specific purpose is to counter all forms of discrimination, harassment, abuse, and gender-based violence within the university environment.
Who is it for?
The Listening Point is open to the entire University of Genova community: students, administrative, technical and library staff, academic staff, and researchers.
What does it do?
It offers individual consultations in a safe and confidential space, where people can find support and information following incidents of violence they have experienced, witnessed, or perpetrated. It also provides initial guidance and basic information on the legal aspects involved, as well as on the most appropriate ways to contact the relevant Authorities, the University's institutional bodies, and the network of Local Services (Anti-Violence Centres, Centres for Perpetrators).

The UniGe Listening Point is located in Genova, at Via Balbi 5, 5th floor, room 27.

Monday, 12:00–14:00
